Overview

Itenary
Day 1
Fly to Gongkar airport & drive to Lhasa
You will be met at Gongkar Airport by your Tibetan guide. After immigration formalities, you will be driven to Lhasa (3660 meters). It takes around 45 minutes to reach the old city.
Day 2
Sightseeing of Jokhang Temple, Sera Monastery and Barkhor Market.
After breakfast you will be briefed about the day’s program. Then your guide will take you on a tour to Jokhang Temple, Sera Monastery and Barkhor Market respectively
Day 3
Sightseeing of Potala Palace &Drepung Monastery
After an early breakfast, you will be escorted by your guide to the majestic Potala Palace and the beautifully landscaped Drepung Monastery.
Day 4
Drive to Shigatse. Visit Shalu monastery en-route. Visit Tashilumpho Monastery & Local Market
After exploring Gyantse, you will take a 90 km drive to Shigatse. En-route we drive approximately 6km off the main highway to visit a very important ancient Monastery. Later drive to Shigatse, second largest city of Tibet.
Day 5
Drive to Gyantse via Yamdrok Lake. Visit Khumbum and Pelkhor Stupa and the Gyantse Dzong.
Moving along the Friendship Highway, you drive past Khamba La, at 4970 meter with a brief halt to savor majestic views of Yamdrok-Tso Lake and Mt. Nojin Kangsang, standing at 7191m.
Day 6
Drive to Tsedang.
Drive to Tsedang via northern route along the Brahmaputra River. Drive is very interesting as you pass through Holy Mountain, one of highest and most popular railway line on earth and village. You will visit Samye Monastery en-route one of the most imposing sights of Tibet.
Day 7
Visit Samye Monastery, the village of King & Yambu Lhakhang
Visit YumbuLakhang, the castle perched dramatically on a pinnacle above the valley, is the oldest known dwelling in Tibet, reputedly the home of the Yearlong Kings, later visit Tandruk Monastery.
Day 8
Drive to airport for flight to Kathmandu.
After breakfast, your guide will give you a final departure transfer for your next destination. Tour Concludes.
