Overview
Explore the lost Kingdom of Mustang, founded by warlords and ruled by monarchs until 2008. The kingdom was forbidden to foreigners until 1992 and it is one of the last untouched part of Nepal that is distinctly Tibetan in religion and culture. This ride is one of the ultimate rides in the rain shadow area of two 8000 m. giants, and used to be a part of the ancient salt trading route between Tibet and Nepal. Ride to the ancient Kingdom with views of implausible gorges, high passes and enormous vistas passing through authentic Tibetan villages, barren ridges, eroded cliffs and Moraine valleys. Its landscape is unrivaled for it has a stupendous wilderness, pristine scenery, snow-capped peaks, spectacular monasteries and caves.
